President
Consulting and forensic engineering services for attorneys,
contractors and insurance companies nationally and internationally.
Assignments utilize the discipline of civil engineering, including
construction management and general contracting. Focus is on
proper execution of contractor-owner-architect-engineer responsibilities,
accident investigations, safety and OSHA compliance, contract
disputes, claims, expert testimony, personal injury, workplace
safety, and evaluation of existing construction for contract
compliance. Testified at trial, and wrote numerous reports which
led to settlement as expert for both plaintiff and defense.
Consulting assignments include: (1) Project Manager for a civil
engineering firm in Las Vegas; (2) Quality Control Manager for
a California based general contractor on an $11 million Detention
Basin for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, (3) Consultant for
a Las Vegas based general contractor on a $10 million apartment
project in Carson City, Nevada, (4) Consultant to an Oregon
based general contractor on a historic restoration project,
and (5) Consultant to subcontractor on the construction of the
Venetian Casino Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, (6) Consultant for
the insurance company on a major monorail construction project.
New York City School Construction Authority, New York
1997 to 1999
Project Officer
Responsible for 22 school renovation programs. Supervise engineers,
construction managers and contractors, achieving overall objectives
for quality, time and budget. Projects involve new construction,
facility upgrades and improvements. Oversight of design, construction
and renovations.
New York City Transit, New York 1994 to 1997
Project Manager
Oversee construction, administered change orders, supervised
field engineers, progress reporting, engineering liaison, and
customer satisfaction for: (1) a two mile subway tunnel rehabilitation;
(2) Column and roof replacement over an active subway station,
relocating utilities, and repairing concrete; (4) Construction
of a new underground fan chamber, replacing existing equipment
with four 78,000 CFM fans, installing electrical distribution
equipment and communication equipment, and relocating utilities
in the street.
Gogulski & Co. - Princeton, NJ 1991 - 1994
Principal
Consulting in forensic engineering and project management. Prepared
claims against government agencies; expert witness on a diverse
range of issues. Supervised a landmark restoration as consultant
to the general contractor for the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Customs
House in New York City; prepared a Request for Proposal for
a $14 million museum renovation and presented it in Washington
D.C. to the Smithsonian Institution; quality control consultant
to a general contractor for construction of a Navy facility
in Staten Island, New York.
NICO Construction Co. - New York 1988 -1991
Project Manager
Overall supervision for Class A office building renovations
in New York City, including biding estimating, permitting, subcontracting
and field supervision.
Drexel Properties - Dallas to DKM Properties - Princeton
1983- 1986
Vice President
Profit and loss responsibility for four-state general contracting
business. Hired and trained staff of 150 Project Managers, Estimators,
Superintendents and Craft personnell. Completed large scale
residential projects, including site development, 3000 units
and valued at $60 million.
George A. Fuller Co. - Boston 1982 - 1983
Project Manager
Assume control of landmark ten-story office building renovation
following failed efforts by multiple previous contractors. Completed
project on schedule and within budget.
Teradyne Inc. - Boston 1979 - 1983
Director of Facilities
Reporting to the CEO of this Fortune 500 company, assumed responsibility
for turn-around of a 75 person department. Responsibilities
included construction, planning, maintenance, leasing, plant
operations, security, transportation and telecommunications.
Responsible for design and construction of new manufacturing
facilities throughout country, including new 12-story corporate
headquarters.
Kaiser Engineers - Boston, MA 1977 - 1979
Director of Development
Supervised four architectural firms and two consultants for
Metropolitan Boston Transit Authority's $750 million Southeast
Corridor Project. Included are: seven subway stations, two Amtrak
and four transit lines, five miles of park land, 36 bridge renovations,
and five miles of roads. This project won the President's award
by the National Endowment of Arts, and was listed as Outstanding
Engineering Achievement of the Year in 1988 by the American
Society of Civil Engineers.
Lanning Corporation - Boston 1972 - 1977

Built six K-Mart Shopping Centers in three state area.
WED Enterprises (Disney) - Orlando 1969 - 1972
Owner's Representative
Oversee design and construction of this $100 million award winning
project: The Contemporary Resort Hotel.
Additional professional experience includes project management
assignments with Bechtel, General Electric and Sheraton Hotels.
Managed $800 million in projects nationwide. Earned outstanding
reputation for the ability to take charge of poorly-managed
and behind-schedule projects, reorganizing them to achieve and
surpass all objectives.
