OBJECTIVE:
To provide expert witness testimony
and consultation in the mechanical and plumbing construction
industry to lawyers, insurance companies, school districts,
manufactures, and business owners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Served as an expert witness-consultant in the plumbing industry
since 1998. Spent over 40 years in the construction industry,
licensed plumber 26 years, master plumber13 years, including
20 years in the field and over 20 years as Job Site Forman,
Superintendent, Estimator, Purchasing Agent, Project Manager,
and Quality control Manager.
Lead Technical Designer or assisted Technical Engineer in
design of many new and retrofit central plants [BOILERS,
STEAM & HOT WATER, CHILLERS, CONDENSATE RETURN SYSTEMS,
PROCESS PIPING etc.] hospital facilities and pharmaceutical
supply manufactures [MEDICAL GAS PIPING, HIGH PURITY PIPING].
Assisted in design and was responsible for complete installation
of many HOT & CHILLED WATER SYSTEMS, CONDENSER WATER,
FUEL OIL, HEAT RECOVERY, CIRCULATING PUMPS, SEWAGE LIFT STATIONS,
SUMP PUMPS, COOLING TOWERS, SANITARY WASTE AND VENT SYSTEMS,
INDUSTRIAL WASTE COLLECTION SYSTEMS, DOMESTIC HOT & COLD
WATER SYSTEMS, REPAIR AND INSPECTION OF A.S.M.E. PRESSURE
CODED VESSELS, COMPRESSED AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS, HIGH
PRESSURE HYDRAULIC OIL PIPING, PROPANE VAPORIZERS, NATURAL
GAS DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS, ROOF DRAINS / RAIN LEADERS, HELICOPTERS
OR CRANE LIFTS OF LARGE PIECES OF EQUIPMENT, and many others.
EDUCATION:
1966 United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of
Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry Apprentice Graduate [
5 year program ].
1968 Plumber & Pipefitting Instructor Training Course,
Purdue University.
EMPLOYMENT:
1999-Present President “THE BRANDON COMPANY” Expert
Witness and Consultant in the Plumbing and Mechanical Construction
Industry.
1989-2001 Project Manager The Waldinger Corp. Was responsible
estimating , purchasing material, supervising all labor,
issuing Sub Contracts, Purchase Orders, and all billings
on mechanical projects at Hospitals, Manufacturing Facilities,
Chemical plants, Oil Refineries, High Rise Apartments, and
many other types of Construction Projects. Quality Control
Manager, was responsible for design repair, and documentation
of repair of all A.S.M.E. Coded Pressure Vessel.
1982-1989 Job Site Forman / Superintendent. Hemco Plumbing & Heating
Inc. Was responsible for all job site labor and subcontractors
on numerous plumbing and mechanical projects at Boeing Aircraft
Co., Beech Aircraft Co., Mid-Continent International Airport
, and similar facilities.
1970-1982 Job Site Forman/Superintendent Central Air-conditioning
Co. Inc. Was responsible for all job site labor and subcontractors
on plumbing and mechanical projects at Kansas University,
Kansas State University, Wesley Hospital , and several
other similar facilities throughout the United States.
1961-1970 Buckley Inc. Apprentice , Journeyman Plumber and
Forman Involved in the installation of mechanical and plumbing
systems in commercial, industrial, and residential.
