Plumbing/Mechanical/Construction Expert
Consultant & Litigation Support

I am a consultant and experienced expert witness in the mechanical and plumbing construction industries. I provide, and have experience providing my services to attorneys, law firms, insurance companies, school districts, manufacturers and business owners.

QUALIFICATIONS
I have served as an expert witness and consultant in the mechanical industry since 1998. My experience in mechanical and plumbing construction management and field work spans over 44 years. I was a licensed journeyman plumber for 26 years, a Master Plumber for 14 years, including 20 years in the field and over 24 years as a Job Site Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, Purchasing Agent, Project Manager, and Quality Control Manager.

I have been a Lead Technical Designer, and also assisted Technical Engineers in designing many new and retrofitting central plants ( all types of Boilers, Chillers, Condensate Return Systems, Process Piping, ect.), hospital facilities and pharmaceutical manufacturers (Medical Gas Piping, High Purity Piping).

I have assisted in the design of, and managed numerous complete installations of the following:
Hot & Chilled Water Systems, Compressed Air Distribution, Condenser Water Systems, Fuel Oil and Natural Gas Distribution Systems, High Pressure Hydraulic Oil Systems, Heat Recovery Systems, Propane Vaporizers, Sewage Lift Stations, Sump Pumps, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Chemical Piping, Industrial Waste Piping, Sanitary Waste & Vent Systems, Roof Drains & Rain Leaders, Domestic Water Distribution Systems, Design Repairs & Inspection of A.S.M.E. Pressure Coded Vessels and many others too numerous to mention.
Also Designed and Implemented Many Heavy Lifts of Equipment and Materials Using Large Cranes and Helicopters.

EDUCATION
1966-United Association of Journeymen and Apprentice of plumbing & pipefitting Industry (5 year program) Graduate.
1968- Plumbing & Pipefitting Instructor Training Course, Prudue University.

EXPERIENCE
1999- Present: President, Chief Expert Witness and Consultant in the field of Mechanical and Plumbing Construction – The Brandon Company.
1989-2001: Project Manager, The Waldinger Corp. Des Moines, IA. My responsibilities consisted of project cost-analysis, purchasing, project management, labor force supervision, interviewing / hiring of manpower and subcontractors, issuing and expediting purchase orders, and billing of all mechanical projects in the following client industries:
Hospitals, Manufacturing Facilities, Chemical Plants, Oil Refineries, Sewage Treatment Plants, Aircraft Manufacturing Plants and High Rise Apartments, Sport Arenas, just to name a few.
I am an Experienced Quality Control Manager, and have thorough knowledge and experience in the Repair Design and Documentation of A.S.M.E. Coded Pressure Vessels.

1982-1989: Job Site Foreman / Superintendent- Hemco Plumbing & Heating Inc. Wichita, Ks. I managed the entire job site labor force and subcontractors for numerous plumbing and mechanical projects at Boeing, Cessna, Raytheon Aircraft Co. Mid-Continent International Airport and various other companies.

1970-1982: Job Site Foreman / Superintendent- Central Air Conditioning Co. Inc. Wichita, Ks. I managed the entire job site labor force and subcontractors for numerous plumbing and mechanical projects at Kansas University, Kansas State University, Wesley Medical Center and various other companies.

1961-1970: Apprentice Plumber / Journeyman Plumber / Foreman- Buckley Inc. Wichita, Ks. I was involved in the installations of mechanical and plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
