4/29/06: Participated with consultation and onscreen interview of A&E Documentary: "DeFeo: First Person Murderer" Broadcast.
2004: - Interview and Consultation for the movie: The Amityville Horror released in April 2005 by MGM with onscreen interview and voice over on the subsequently released DVD

EXPERIENCE
1972 - 1979: Office of the Medical Examiner of Suffolk County, Hauppauge, New York: Deputy Chief Medical Examiner and Medical Director of Toxicology Laboratories.
At the Office of the Medical Examiner, I supervised four other full time pathologists and two part time pathologists covering our workload of more than 1300 autopsies per year including 35 - 40 homicides (non vehicular). Cases included a wide spectrum of forensic autopsies and investigations including decomposed bodies (both from water and land), skeletal remains, exhumations, animal deaths and cemetery desecrations, scene investigations and courtroom testimony. Approximately 5,000 total career autopsies with supervision and review of other pathologists’ autopsies of approximately four times that number.
As Deputy Chief Medical Examiner of Suffolk County, New York, I consulted with many attorneys, both private and affiliated with malpractice insurance companies, in cases of alleged malpractice, questions of double indemnity, workmen's compensation and other medicolegal questions including investigation of the American Airlines Crash in Chicago.

Triple Homicide: Sager Family
Karen Pomroy Case: Legal Landmark Case of homicide involving organ transplant and legal acceptance of the concept of brain death.
Logue Sisters: Mysterious death of siblings one week apart which attracted national attention.

Medical Photography:
Designed the photographic system at the hospital laboratories in Warren, Ohio and Passaic, New Jersey. I have photographed medicolegal cases and intraoperative cases as well as the gross and microscopic surgical and autopsy material. I recently updated my personal photomicroscope, a Nikon trinocular Optiphot for digital photography which can be downloaded into my computer for reports in Microsoft Word or for PowerPoint presentations.
