I was born in Water Valley, Mississippi and currently reside in Pass Christian.  I was educated in the public schools in Mendenhall.  In 1977, I graduated from the University of Mississippi and in 1982, I received my initial training in polygraph at the Munford Institute of Polygraph in Atlanta, Georgia.  I currently hold Mississippi Polygraph License #6 and I have completed more than thirteen thousand polygraph examinations in the state of Mississippi.

I have attended more than seventeen polygraph workshops, including seminars at the University of Houston and the University of Utah.  In 1995, I completed the course in computerized polygraph at the Department of Defense Polygraph Institute.  I have completed more than three hundred and fifty polygraph related continuing education units.  In 1986, I was appointed to and served a five year term on the Mississippi Polygraph Board, the state agency which licenses and regulates polygraph.

I am a full member of the American Polygraph Association, the American Association of Police Polygraphist and the Mississippi Association of Polygraph Examiners, where I currently serve on the Board of Directors.

I have provided criminal issue testing, internal affairs testing and employment screening testing to more than thirty law enforcement agencies in Mississippi.  I have provided polygraph services to many agencies of the State of Mississippi, including the Oil & Gas Board, the Deltal Levee Board, the State Fair Commission, the Office of the Attorney General and the Mississippi Department of Mental Health.

Since 1988, I have provided specific theft testing in compliance with the federal regulations under the Employee Polygraph Protection Act to more than five hundred businesses, large and small, in our state.

From 1983 to 2004, I was employed as Manager of Investigations for Day Detectives, Inc., Mississippi's largest full service security company.  I oversaw all types of private investigations and service of process for the coastal counties in South Mississippi.
